What is our favorite way to celebrate life’s milestone moments? With a party, of course! This blog is truly a passion project for the two of us, and one that we have dreamed up since 2017. Yes, you read that right. 2017. We went live on September 9th and it felt like we were birthing a baby, so we had an epic launch party to commemorate the occasion. Thank you is not a grand enough statement, but we will start there. We are so heart warmed by the outpouring of love and support we received throughout the launch party evening. You all are our original group of Maude-sters and we are thrilled to bring you along this journey with us.
To our event partners
Without hesitation, you partnered with us and added an extra special layer of sparkle on an already magical evening. Melissa’s Produce graciously created an epic charcuterie display for our Maude-sters to munch on, complete with all their incredible specialty produce along with products from Fresh Source, Torn & Glasser, Mariani, and Natural Delights. Alvarado Street Brewery (Alvarado on Main) came through with the brews and a fun promotion for all our launch party guests. Finally, Room For Dessert created adorably sweet L&M cookies to help us brand the event (plus, what’s a party without cookies?!). We are eternally grateful for your contributions.
To Our Awesome Musicians (The Band)
All the cheers and gratitude to the band, who rocked out all evening after countless months of rehearsal. They set the tone (literally) for the party and it would not have been the same without them. The greatest thank you to Bruce Pittenger (Jen’s rock-star husband) for always going above and beyond, and for taking our idea of live music and absolutely knocking it out of the park.
Our launch party evening was so special, a night that we will always remember and cherish. There was laughter, joy, some happy tears, and many memories were made. Now it’s time to start planning our first Maude-ster Meet Up. *wink*
